The 33.8 metre Yachting Developments sailing yacht Silvertip has been listed for sale with Superyacht Partners.
Silvertip is a born racer with a lightweight carbon composite hull designed by Dubois Naval Architects. She was delivered in 2001 and has been used only privately since new, competing in a number of prestigious regattas around the world. Most recently, she took several wins at the Mastercard Superyacht Regatta in Auckland, New Zealand, and came third overall.
Silvertip has benefited from a number of upgrades throughout her life including a significant refit in 2017 that saw the teak decks replaced, an overhaul of the rigging, the addition of two new generators and a complete repaint of the hull, superstructure, mast and boom among other upgrades. In winter 2021/2022, she completed her ABS Survey and engine service.
Silvertip features a flush deck for ease of movement around the boat when racing and has a full complement of sails by North Sails, including a 572 sqm mainsail, paired with Southern Spars rigging. Sailing operations are kept aft of a large cockpit where al fresco meals can be enjoyed at anchor.
Silvertip features an interior by Agnes Comar with accommodation for seven guests in three cabins. A full-beam master suite is the aft-most cabin, accompanied by a double VIP suite to one side and a twin cabin with bunk beds and a single berth to the other. All cabins are finished in a Swedish pear wood with neutral carpets and fabrics and splashes of racing red. The main saloon has a lounge and library area to port and a dining area illuminated by a pair of skylights overhead.
Silvertip is also equipped with a 4.5-mere Aquapro inflatable tender, and a three-metre Achilles foldable inflatable tender, as well as a toy box with paddleboards, snorkelling and dive gear and equipment for powered sports.
When cruising under power, a single 300 HP Lugger engine deilvers a top speed of 11 knots and a range of up to 4,500 nautical miles.
Lying in Palma, Silvertip is asking €5,500,000. She will be on display at the Palma Yacht Show.
