British shipyard Sunseeker has announced two new additions to its Ocean series, the 24.5 metre Ocean 156 and the 27 metre Ocean 182. The new models were unveiled during the Cannes Yachting Festival and will join Sunseeker’s popular 90 Ocean which hit the water in 2020.
According to the yard, the larger Ocean 182 will offer something “completely novel” to the existing Sunseeker range and is due to be launched next year. One feature in particular that separates the model from its sisters is a newly-designed enclosed flybridge made almost entirely of glazing, with a tilting vain of the sunroof that allows more light and ventilation to fill the space.

The helm station, typically positioned on the main deck, has moved to a single helm on the flybridge, allowing for a large open-plan main deck saloon with multiple seating configurations available to owners rivalling that of a yacht much larger in size. The galley, which is now positioned forward and accompanied by a spacious dining area, can be used by the owner use but features dedicated access from the side deck for crew.
Floor-to-ceiling sliding doors to starboard match floor-to-ceiling windows on the port side offering uninterrupted views from bow to stern.
