Starboard unveils new retail offer with Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection

Starboard Cruise Services is expanding its business in the maritime retail sector with a groundbreaking new luxury partnership that will see the company provide retail on board the first superyacht from The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection.
The new retail collection, which was exclusively revealed by Starboard President and CEO Lisa Bauer during her keynote speech at the DFNI Cruise Conference in Barcelona this morning, will see the company showcase a new “narrative-driven” offer as it extends its business into the luxury travel market.
The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection provides luxury cruise experiences and the company’s first superyacht, Evrima, will set sail this summer with Starboard providing the on-board retail for passengers. The Ritz-Carlton Yach Collection experience is inspired by the luxury of the famous brand’s resorts and to bring that to life, Starboard has put the focus on storytelling and discovery for the companies’ first collaborative collection.
“The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection collaboration represents a milestone for our Luxury Division,” Bauer explained.
“Guided by newness and destination brands, we have curated an exclusive retail concept representing the relaxed luxury of the yachting lifestyle while capturing the destinations’ essence.”
The Ritz-Carlton Yach Collection CEO Douglas Prothero added: “Our yacht experience sets a new standard for luxury at sea, redefining travel for guests seeking to discover the world in a relaxed, casually elegant way.
“With the unmatched global influence of Starboard’s Luxury Division, we look forward to providing guests with an elevated retail experience at sea.”
