Italian shipyard Sanlorenzo has debuted its 33 metre SP110 at the Cannes Yachting Festival.
Unveiled on the water as part of a gala event yesterday (September 5), the hydrojet-powered sports yacht is the first in the shipyard’s SP series – or ‘Smart Performance’ range – and marks Sanlorenzo’s entry into the sports yacht market.

The project is a collaboration between Bernardo Zuccon, who worked on the exterior, with Marco Arnaboldi designing the hull and Piero Lissoni helming the interiors. Tilli Antonelli at Sanlorenzo product development was also integral to the project.
The goal for the SP110 was to create a boat that was high-performing and liveable with maximum energy efficiency.
To this end, a fractional propulsion system allows the yacht to move around using just one engine, a pair, or all three, offering owners greater autonomy and lower fuel consumption. Meanwhile, 6kW monocrystalline solar panels are fitted on the wheelhouse, and the energy recovered in this method can power yacht’s hotel load for several hours.

The SP110 features a two-deck layout with an eight-metre beam and “unexpected” interior volumes, according to the shipyard. One of the key design points on board is a split-level deck, which creates a feeling of “lightness” and “space”, according to Piero Lissoni.
