Malia White’s yachting career is going swimmingly — so much so that she recently took it to a whole new level by receiving a major certification.
The Below Deck Mediterranean alum took to Instagram on Monday, January 30, to reveal as much, sharing a photo of herself with a test labeled “PASS” in one hand and a celebratory Guinness in the other. “It’s official: your latest Officer of the Watch!” Malia captioned the post. “Thank you to all those who’ve supported me and helped get me here today… It’s been a stressful studying period but it paid off today!”
Several members of the Below Deck family congratulated Malia, including her former boss Captain Sandy Yawn and Below Deck Sailing Yacht’s Captain Glenn Shephard.
Malia’s fellow crew members shared sweet messages as well. “Yewwwwwwwwwwww, congrats Malia!” Mzi “Zee” Dempers wrote, while Katie Flood commented, “So proud of my partner in crime.”
Eddie Lucas, Natasha Webb, Dave White, Storm Smith, and Elena Dubaich were also among those to congratulate her.
