Luxury Carpet Studio worked alongside Francesco Paskokwski on Cantiere delle Marche’s 40-metre RJ 130, and SuperYacht Times caught up with Vincenzo Solenne, CEO of the bespoke carpet maker to hear more about the project. Design choices are usually the result of clear input from the owner. After discussions between designer and client, where we look at all the decorative aspects, comes the trickiest phase of the project: finding a functional, sustainable solution to fit the instructions we received.
For the RJ 130’ Class project our client the design imperative was to create an ambiance that imbued softness, elegance and a heightened perception of luxury. To create this we opted for a heavy use of natural materials, such as bamboo, virgin and merino wools and silk.CdM’s RJ…
