Boutique yachting company Floating Life has signed an agreement with CCN (a division of the Baglietto Group) to build a 42 metre superyacht named Dream 42.
The model was designed by Floating Life founder Andrea Pezzini, in collaboration with Satura Studio and ZeroTredici studio, and is based on the same technical platform as the company’s FL Line. The design for the Dream 42, however, has been tailored to suit a fractional ownership model; three owners have already signed on to the ownership proposal for the vessel and a further three are still in discussion.

One of the key design elements of the Dream 42 is the configuration of its exterior decks. There are six different spaces to choose from which allows for intimate spaces for guests to spread out, as well as larger areas such as the saloon and sun deck should they choose to come together. Accommodation is for 12 guests split across seven flexible cabins which makes the Dream 42 well suited for charter.
Its layout includes an “under lower deck” area which allows the engine room to be placed on an additional deck, freeing up space on the lower deck for a corridor that provides guests with direct access to the beach club. It also eases crew service by connecting the two spaces.
