In celebration of the World Water Day and under the aegis of the collective Monaco, Capital of Advanced Yachting brand that the Yacht Club de Monaco is in charge of the Yachting Day during the 6th Monaco Ocean Week (20-26 March 2023). This is an initiative of the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation alongside the Monaco Government, the Monaco Oceanographic Institute and Monaco Scientific Centre. “Yachting faces major changes. A modernisation has become inevitable, and those involved in the sector are mobilised to initiate this evolution through research and bringing on new solutions,” says Bernard d’Alessandri, General Secretary of YCM and President of Cluster Yachting Monaco. “The assessment phase is over, we must act now with pragmatic solutions.”

Everybody loves a great waterfront restaurant and fortunately we have lots of them in Florida. These are the special occasion kind of places where you can dine while enjoying a spectacular sunset. Or perhaps sip on a margarita while watching a couple of frolicking dolphins.

To help, our USA Today Network Entertainment Team of contributors living throughout the Sunshine State has chosen 15 of our favorite waterfront restaurants. They are perfect to visit pretty much any day of the year and extra pleasant now during the spring.

While we’ve written about our favorite beachfront restaurants and bars (and beaches) in the past, for this list we’ve placed some of our favorite oceanfront restaurants alongside equally charming eateries hugging beautiful bays and rivers. Presented in alphabetical order, here’s our list of 15 favorite waterfront restaurants in Florida.

Ukraine’s richest expat and an associate of President Volodymyr Zelensky has called on Europe’s super rich to do more to help the country’s war effort.

“This war is not only about Ukraine. This war is being fought on the border of EU, so it’s a war of Europe in fact. Maybe some of those are not doing enough, but there’s a lot of people doing a lot. I am not talking only about billionaires, there’s a lot of normal people…

They say good things come in threes. Dutch studio Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design has embraced this theory with its “Beach” concept with a family of superyachts available in three defined sizes.

Designer Sander Sinot even has bigger goals, with hopes to sell multiple sizes to the same owners. “There are many families who own several yachts between them, but most of the boats differ in terms of space, accommodation and design philosophy,” Sinot told Robb Report. “It makes sense to build equal designs in variable sizes to create a cohesive family of yachts.”

According to the report, released yesterday (Mar 17), a total of 184,762 foreigners  entered the country via Phuket International Airport from Mar 1-15.

Of those 47,525 were Russian nationals, with a further 21,414 arriving from China. Indian nationals placed third with 14,320 arrivals, followed by arrivals from Kazakhstan (9,703) and Germany (9,602).

Of note, the most recent previous daily report by Phuket Immigration marked that 117,595 Russian nationals had arrived in Phuket from Dec 1-18. Arrivals from India held the second spot on the Top 5, with 49,669 arrivals.

For the first time included in Phuket Immigration arrival reports yesterday was that 214,528 foreigners were registered as staying at an accommodation venue.

The report carried the warning: “The host, the owner, the occupier of the dwelling, the hotel manager, when a foreigner stays, has a duty to inform the immigration officer within 24 hours. Violation is punishable under section 38 of the Immigration Act B.E. 2522.”
