2022 was a record year for Camper & Nicholsons and its forecasts for this year are incredibly positive, with a reported company-wide uptick of 20%. Camper & Nicholsons had 700 charter bookings last year (equaling 5,416 days), and sold a large number of used and new yachts. “2022 was a record year for our company in terms of both retail and charter management revenues,” Paolo Casani, chief executive officer at Camper & Nicholsons, commented. “Globally, we managed €2.2 billion of asset value in charter in 2022.”Photo: Léandre Loyseau / SuperYacht TimesAccording to Daniela Duck, new build division coordinator at Camper & Nicholsons, new build sales in 2022 were up 35%, with 186 projects signed off compared to the 120 in the previous year. “In the last 12 months, new projects have been delivered by and signed with Feadship, Baglietto and Mangusta among others, which kept the team very busy,” Duck noted.
Last year Camper & Nicholsons announced its expansion into the Middle East, with a forthcoming new office in Dubai. “The opening of a new office in Singapore will improve our reach and presence in Southeast Asia.
