Benetti launches first 37m Benetti B.Yond

Italian shipyard Benetti has added a “groundbreaking” new model to its fleet with the launch of the 37 metre Benetti B.Yond. Billed as “the greenest model in its class”, the new model hit the water in a private ceremony in Livorno this evening (July 4).
The B.Yond model was conceived by Paolo Vitelli, founder and president of the Azimut Benetti Group, with the creative input from architect Stefano Righini, who sadly died in October 2021. Built with a steel hull for comfortable, long-range cruising, the yacht marks a new chapter for Benetti as the first model in its Voyager series.
Speaking about the launch, Vitelli said he envisioned the B.Yond to break records. “I am happy to present one of the most innovative boats ever built,” he said. “Equipped with a hybrid system for long-range, environment-friendly cruising and featuring a four-deck layout in a length of just 37 metres, this is a dream come true for modern owners who want to cruise around the world with their family and friends.”

The 395GT yacht features an innovative E-Mode Hybrid system by Siemens Energy, which creates optimal energy consumption according to specific usage profiles. The result is “unprecedented” reductions in emissions for a yacht in this category, which works in combination with SCR filters, a type of emission control technology that has already been successfully adopted by the automotive industry.
