The start of the boat show season is here, and there is one show in particular that should be in every show-goer’s calendar.
The Abu Dhabi International Boat Show (ADIBS), taking place from 24 to 27 November, will not only showcase the latest from the boating industry, but moves Abu Dhabi further into the spotlight as a great yachting destination with the support of the show’s strategic partner, Abu Dhabi Maritime.
For those planning a visit to the show, here’s what you can look forward to.
A fresh format
In its fourth year, ADIBS is held in Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre’s (ADNEC) marina and at the newly-completed waterfront Marina Hall. The state-of-the-art venue is one of the few in the world with the ability to host indoor, outdoor and marine events simultaneously. Here the show will occupy the majority of the marina with 40% more boats in attendance compared to last year.
The show has already developed a reputation as a great day out for boat lovers and their families, cultivating an accessible, educational and approachable atmosphere for marine enthusiasts to see and learn about the latest releases in the boating, fishing and water sports arena across an area over 40,000 square metres in size.
