A day on board one of Benetti’s new Oasis 34M superyachts

When Benetti was developing the concept for its Oasis range of superyachts it started with the simple question: “what do owners really want from their superyacht?”. The Italian yacht builder concluded that owners were looking for a more dynamic and less formal lifestyle – one that involves less time lying in the sun, and more time exploring and reaching new places. And it was these core principles that formed the foundation of the innovative series.
The range was established with the launch of the Oasis 40M yacht, which has gone on to sell 12+ units since the first build. One of these units included Rebeca, which was sold to former American powerboat champion Tim Ciasulli and won a prestigious World Superyacht Award in 2021. Building on the Oasis 40M’s success in 2022, a smaller Oasis 34M version was unveiled and a remarkable 8+ yachts have already been sold.
The designer, RWD, has focused on altering the classic onboard concept to better suit the modern-day owner. The result, which was unveiled on the first Oasis 34M, Seaesta, includes the addition of several open-plan social areas in places where guests are kept as close to the water as possible.
From the outside, the Oasis 34M distinguishes itself with a sporty look that coincides with a youthful interior theme. The design has piqued the interest of another celebrity sportsman, Swedish footballer Zlatan Ibrahimović. The striker took delivery of the second hull, named Unknown, in 2022.
