Following her launch on May 9, the 42 metre Baglietto superyacht Rush has headed out on sea trials. The aluminium yacht sports a modern design from Francesco Paszkowski.
Rush is set to live up to her name thanks to a high-performance planing hull and three MTU engines which will help the yacht reach top speeds of 28 knots.
Baglietto has gone back to its origins with the yacht’s planing hull design, which has proved popular for the yard over the years. Now it’s being revisited with a contemporary twist.
Rush’s design centres around a dark grey hull, with a slender silhouette and aggressive lines that are enhanced by an extensive use of glazed surfaces on several levels.
Rush is formally christened with a traditional champagne bottle smashing against the bow.
The yacht’s interior has also been crafted by Francesco Paszkowski, working in collaboration with Margherita Casprini. A generous interior volume has given the design team plenty of space to play with, with features including a cinema room and large beach club area adjoining the swim platform.
Forward of the yacht’s main deck is a full-beam owner’s suite with large en suite and spacious walk-in wardrobe. On the lower deck, guests will find four guest cabins comprising two double VIP cabins and two twin cabins. Crew accommodation is also found on the lower deck.
Opportunities to dine and unwind are located across the yacht’s exterior decks, with al fresco dining on the aft and a sunbathing area on the bow.
The yard and the design team have championed flexibility and owner-friendly features throughout Rush. The yacht’s tender storage is located on the side of the yacht to allow for easy launching and hauling and a draft of just two metres allows for hassle-free cruising in shallow water regions.
Rush is set to make her debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival in September 2022.
